If you are using a soup maker at home, make sure you never fill it above the maximum level for your soup maker.

Every soupmaker I have ever known has had that level clearly marked on the soupmaker itself, some quite visible and accessable.  If you do have trouble seeing it, I’d invest in a maker pen to mark he spot on the outside of your soupmaker.
